Close to home, friends and family and a great city and well respected school. Transferred to this school from another because it had a great reputation for teaching as well as community. Easy application process and average fees to apply. Went into this school after 1.5 years at a different university.

Course Curriculum

8

The course curriculum is generally good, there are a lot of science required courses that much be taken in order to graduate with the degree. Generally the first two years are laid out for you and after that it is easier to take your own path and focus in on the courses and programs you get more interested in.

Exams

Average GPA of 80% from high school usually needed to get into this program. I chose this because it is a good degree to pursue other fields afterwards. It is a bachelors program so high school graduation is the only thing needed to enter with good academic standing or at least a 65% average when transferring from another university

Fees

Tuition is generally around $550 per course or $650 per computer science or engineering courses along with $400 for medical and dental (unless you opt-out) and about $200 per semester in student fees and $80 per semester on a bus pass (required) as well as athletic fees and others. Usually, if you're in a full course load not with engineering it is around $6000 per year

Scholarship

No

Examination Structure

Most courses have 1-2 midterms per semester and a final exam that is worth 30-60% of your final grade

Faculty

6

The school is generally good. Once you get to higher-level courses the faculty-student ratio is very small and the majority of teachers are enthusiastic about the topics they teach.
