This college is in London, Ontario. My brother first came to this college. My sister also lives here. This made me go for Fanshawe. My brother had good reviews regarding this college. Moreover, having my elder sister nearby helped me a lot to settle in. London is a really peaceful city. There is less population so the employment rate is high. That's why I preferred this college.
Exams
I always had an interest in programming and coding. I took science in my 12th grade and got 80% in the final. My IELTS score was 7.5 bands. Moreover, my brother also did the same program. This program helps you to learn all the skills needed in the industry. The best part of this course is that it offers paid co-ops. Student makes money while in college.
Placement
They are good. Companies post their job postings on the co-op site. Only students from that course can have access to the site. The number of local jobs is very less but jobs located in Toronto are posted more. If I talk about my course, 70% of students get placement.
Internship
Yes, my course offers co-ops which means that students find a job related to the course and earn money. My college also has some campus job opportunities. Especially in the student union department. Every month certain jobs are being posted. Most positions deal with the food industry.
Fees
The tuition fee is around $8000 per semester. This college doesn't have many scholarships. There are quite a few, like if you have IELTS score of greater than 7 bands then you can get $500 scholarship in your first year. The procedure of applying for it is through online college portal. Student can log in and go to the scholarship link.
Faculty
I think the faculty is mixed. I also had some good PhD professors.
Hostel
I live outside campus. It is much cheaper to live outside than in college residence. You get more options outside. For example, you can rent an apartment near to your favourite grocery store. It saves a lot of time.
