The tuition fee is much cheaper than most other Canadian Universities. Moreover, it has good faculty in engineering programs. I want to be a mechatronics engineering. There are only a few universities in Canada that have this subject. Plus with my 12th-grade result I also managed to get around 6000$ scholarship.

Course Curriculum

Our faculty is quite well staffed. We always had classes without any problem. There wasn't any kind of change in schedule due to the absence of teacher as they are always someone to replace.

Exams

I choose this program because I wanted to study it for a long time. I have always been good in physics and maths and I really enjoyed the time I spent in physics labs. I really liked to work with tools and machines and therefore I always knew I would study engineering. I also believe robots are the future, which is the reason for me choosing to be a mechatronics engineer.

Internship

They offer both but they are really hard to get. I applied for on-campus jobs like librarian and food court staff but the competition is too much. And for an internship the amount of people applying is really high which made it hard to secure a job.

Fees

My course requires around 11500$ only for the course fee. Addition to that there is much more miscellaneous fees. I got an entrance scholarship of 6000$. I know this is the maximum they provide for International students. However, beyond the first year there are no scholarship opportunities for international students.

Hostel

I lived on campus only for the first semester. However, it was really expensive. Moreover, I am a Muslim and there were very few items for halal. After that, I have been living in an apartment which is much cheaper.
