University of Calgary has outstanding professors in computer graphics field of study. The main reason I choose this university is that I want to be a computer graphics programmer.
Course Curriculum
The amount of related courses for my field of study is quite large. We have several courses such as modeling, rendering, animation and etc. Also they are a lot of courses available for HCI and information visualization fields.
Exams
My scores: IELTS: Overall 7, Listening 7.5, Reading 7, Writing 6 and speaking 6.5, minimum required IELTS score was 7.
Placement
There is a lot of opportunities in our department. We have industry coffee meetings every two weeks to be more connected with industry. Also, companies are investing in researches in the campus for themselves. This helps research groups to do their research on more realistic problems.

I am paying $9200 per year for my program, It is divided in 3 parts for fall, winter, and pair of spring and summer semesters.

I got international student award which is $3000 and applied directly on my tuition fee. Moreover I have $24000 RA and TA funding.
Faculty
We have very experienced faculty members at computer science department with a high rate of publications. Also, It's easy to reach them via email or their office hours. Moreover, courses have high quality and enough amount teaching assistants to help students.
Campus Life
I love UofC campus. Here we have connected departments via indoor tunnels (Necessary for winter!). Also thesis based graduate students have desks at their lab or personal offices which help them to concentrate more on their research. Also, there is a lot of events and clubs in the university (in pandemic, most of them are online, but you can find some of them in person too). And sport facilities are awesome here! At the kinesiology department, we have well equipped gyms, squash courts, pool and ice skating court!
Hostel
We have dorms and dining centers, but I have never used them. Actually, renting an apartment with one roommate is going the be cheaper in Calgary.
