Cape Breton University, Supply chain management

After completing my MBA I decided to study more about specific field. I applied in lambton college for the supply chain management program but I did not get an offer letter for that program and I also applied in University for the same and I got offer letter from cbu,so I opted this University.

Exams

As supply chain is one of my favourite fields, so I opted for that one. Their are almost 150 students in my batch. I have 7 bands in IELTS. The minimum IELTS score is 6 in each and overall 6.5 for the students opting post graduate degree or diploma. For undergraduate courses 6 in each are enough to enter into the university

Placement

7

As I am a first year student I do not know about job opportunities in the University. But i heard that they help students to get a job by inviting various companies for the on campus job placements for their future benefit

Internship

Mostly students have to find internships off campus. They only provide project work if a student does not get any internship in any other company. As a first year student I do not know much about the job opportunities on campus.

Fees

Fee structure is very poor in the University. They do not tell the fee per semester in the offer letter as other colleges do. My total fees written on offer letter was $22,000 but now they are increasing it every semester. As they are increasing it per course it will reach to around $25000 at the end of the program

Faculty

7

Faculty is quite good. Mostlyare PhD holders. As my program is PB diploma in Supply chain management, I haven't seen any practical work in my program.

Hostel

6

I am living off campus because living on campus is more expensive than living off campus. My living expenses are almost around $650 per month which includes 400 dollars for room rent and rest is for meal.
