I got to know about this University through a friend. Since I am a dentist by profession I wanted to pursue my further education In Canada in the same profession and this University with this particular course opened the gates of opportunities and not just that an additional offer of being a health inspector in Canada which is a very elite profession. The admission Process was done by submitting a application fees of $103 and by showing the proof of my academic credentials in India along with the IELTS exam. It was the only college I applied for because of the friendly nature of the staff and the excellent job and placement opportunities at this University.

Exams

I opted for this program because I saw expanded vision and growth towards my career. Moreover a small batch size if 40 students in the class and 20 in the lab gave me the idea that the teachers would show exceptional Interest in helping us build our careers. The total credits after successful completion of this course are 72 and moreover It gave me an additional extra qualification and option except dentistry. I had given an IELTS exam as a requirement with a successful score of 7.5 though the eligible score is just 6 to 6.5 with a 55% minimum requirement in your previous qualification.

Placement

10

The placements depends on the student's capabilities as it's the students choice if they're interested in building there career in the administration or as a health inspector. There are many full time positions that welcome recent graduates for employment giving the privilege of working in the University as a instructor or as a administrator.

Internship

Yes. My University is one of the top 5 universities in Canada that get maximum placements for health inspetors. There are certain groups and pages made to help st Students get and gather information and some teachers specifically help students get through the exams and interviews not just that the University offers several full time and part time job opportunities for students to learn, explore and earn while staying on campus which even includes student Union which benefits students in many ways.

Fees

The tuition fees per annum is 17000 CAD. It's a 2 year program so this amount needs to be paid twice. I did not avail for any loan. There are several scholarship offers available before and during the course for international students along with tuition waivers which is a draw that happens during orientation which includes different amounts of $250, $500, $1000 etc. I didn't receive any scholarship yet since I was a summer student and I am in the middle of my semester but I'll apply for one as soon as it ends. You get $500 for 75% and above in all courses individually and overall during the semester and $1000 for 85% and above with the same requisite along with some eligiblity criteria.

Faculty

10

The faculty is probably the most strongest point to be noted in this University. Though the student teacher ratio is 40:1 for a subject but I've seen and observed teacher's taking immense interest in helping us get through all hurdles professionally as well as personally. They are very hard-working, friendly and they make sure we feel at home even when are miles apart. They guide us through everything in a very encouraging Manner and make sure we excel in our fields and there academic knowledge flows like a river. It's never ending they're all excellent in there respective courses.

I chose to live off campus to explore more places and since we get to spend the entire day in the University for classes and I chose to stay off campus to prevent the monotony of life and since I have a special interest in cooking I like cooking different meals for myself according to my mood as it was compulsory to add a meal plan if we chose to stay on campus which by the way is explicit. I've myself tried the buffet once and It was awesome!
