I chose UBC for its flexibility in switching between faculties and programs. I wasn't sure I wanted to major in science at the time of applying. After my second year of university, I ended up switching to another faculty and pursuing another major. I also chose UBC for its international student support and inclusive culture. It also has a very beautiful campus which is one of its main attractions (surrounded by ocean and mountains).
