It was close to my home and I didn't want to be in debt by the time college ended. I didn't feel I was ready to move out and be on my own. My school also has one of the top Health Sciences programs in the country.

Course Curriculum

It could definitely be a little more hands on. There were many times where I didn't learn much in some of the courses I took. If I wanted someone to read slides to me, I would have just stayed at home and looked at a powerpoint.

Internship

We have a co-op program. I did two terms of co-op (the first term at a health training and consulting business and the second in the federal public service), my second term is a much more positive experience than my first. I earned about $9000 each term.

Events

6

We had an NCAA athletics division, and they played hockey, basketball, volleyball, football, and other sports. We used to have an EDM concert at the beginning of the school year but that was canceled due to bad school politics.

Fees

We paid for our school fees at the start of every term, including activity fees, gym fees, and our bus passes.

Examination Structure

We had a mixture of multiple choice exams that were tougher than you think they might be. Especially if the professor makes some of the questions from obscure facts that no one remembers. We also had exams that were a mixture of MC and short answers. I liked those better.

Faculty

Pretty good. Students enjoyed collaborating with each other (most of the time) and there wasn't really an air of superiority that in the way professors treated students and in the way students treat each other.
