- The Doctor of Ministry (DMin) is a four-year program that provides the opportunity to develop a comprehensive and critical understanding of ministry in which theory and practice inform and enhance one other.
- The program is designed to assist students in gaining advanced expertise in the general practice of ministry as well as advanced skills in a specialized area of research particular to their ministry. Students remain employed and working in their ministry base and travel to Toronto for a two- or three-week intensive each spring. The rest of the program is delivered through online learning and reading and research courses. A thesis based on the student’s qualitative research in the ministry base completes the program.
