- Diploma in Film and Television Production and Post-Production is a one-year program. (960 hours/4 terms)
- The initial term is focused on scriptwriting, audio, and online video. Designed to develop the storytelling abilities and build an understanding of the role of sound and music, they will be prepared for the countless opportunities available in online video production.
- The second term is dedicated to the production and will give students the skills to effectively produce and direct, including camera work, lighting, sound, and cinematography.
- Term 3 centers around editing and management by introducing important editing training necessary during post-production, along with valuable planning, development, distribution, and marketing business skills.
- The final term will be dedicated to showcasing the accumulated acquired skills. Students will use these throughout a complete film production cycle, starting with an appreciation for the art of the ‘pitch’ in getting their projects off the ground and culminating with the final short film project, ready to go into the portfolio.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
To be admitted into a program of study offered by Trebas Institute Toronto, students must:
- Possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (grade 12) or its equivalent
- Or be at least 18 years of age, and pass a Superintendent approved qualifying test (Scholastic Level Exam)
- A valid government-issued ID
Required Document List

- Valid passport
- Copy of diplomas indicating the highest level of education attained. (Diploma/degree must be translated in English by a certified body)
- If the above requirement is not met, students must complete the Wonderlic Basic Skills assessment in English and Math.
- A portfolio, or several samples of work in the student’s chosen field. A 500-word essay/letter of intent detailing the student's accomplishments, future goals and objectives is also accepted.
VISA & Work Study

Once the student completes all admission requirements, he/she must contact the Canadian consulate in their city to apply for a student visa that is valid for the entirety of the study period. The applicant should have a valid Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) or a visitor visa at the time of admission.
