- Courses at Trebas focus on event planning, marketing, budgeting, contract negotiations, advertising and venue operations management, to give students all the tools they need to embark on rewarding careers in this field.
- The full-time, 48-week program takes students from novice to expert event and venue manager in just four terms.
- The term 1 focuses on business and design. Students will develop the business and managerial skills needed to thrive. They’ll also be introduced to the creative side of event management and promotions.
- Term 2 focuses on event management and will take students through all the steps of planning and running events, reinforced with a firm grounding in theory, interactive group work, and field trips.
- In term 3, students will consider communications and marketing. This term allows them to learn how to make sure their events are a well-attended success. From public speaking to advertising, this module gives them the polish to put their best face forward on behalf of the event.
- The program finishes with an internship and a final project. The internship will allow students to apply their skills to work as an event and venue management intern in a relevant work placement. This will help them to build their experience and work hands-on with real projects.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
To be admitted into a program of study offered by Trebas Institute Toronto, students must:
- Possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (grade 12) or its equivalent
- Or be at least 18 years of age, and pass a Superintendent approved qualifying test (Scholastic Level Exam)
- A valid government-issued ID
Required Document List

- Birth certificate
- Valid passport
- Copy of diplomas indicating the highest level of education attained. (Diploma/degree must be translated in English by a certified body)
- If the above requirement is not met, students must complete the Wonderlic Basic Skills assessment in English and Math.
- A portfolio, or several samples of work in the student’s chosen field. A 500-word essay/letter of intent detailing the student's accomplishments, future goals and objectives is also accepted.
VISA & Work Study

Once the student completes all admission requirements, he/she must contact the Canadian consulate in their city to apply for a student visa that is valid for the entirety of the study period. The applicant should have a valid Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) or a visitor visa at the time of admission.
