- The classes are lecture-based course structure. Students learn in labs by practicing on the equipment that they will use when they enter the workforce.
- In conjunction with the corporate partners, students may be involved in real-world projects for one or two days per week, making proposals, and then working in teams to plan projects, set schedules and achieve goals.
- George Brown has created up-to-date wireless, security, VoIP, RF, and LTE labs so that all students gain individual hands-on experience.
- Students will have access to NETLAB, giving them remote access to the Cisco Academy and VMWare labs.
- After finishing the program, students will have bridging options to other post-secondary and postgraduate programs in the School of Computer Technology.
- Students who start the program in January (Winter term) will be required to attend classes during the summer months (May to August).
- Students also have to complete a capstone project in the 3rd semester.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must complete a 3-year College Diploma or Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
- Students with international transcripts who do not provide English proficiency test results must test at the College level in the George Brown College English assessment to be considered for admission.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria
- Students must have graduated from a recognized university or college.
- The graduate 1st or 2nd class degree results are required.
- The second class degree result must have a minimum overall average of 55% for Business programs and 60% for all other streams.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.

- CV/Resume: Outline of academic achievements and/or awards, publications, relevant work, and/or volunteer experience.
- Academic Documents: Students have to submit marks sheets and certificates of secondary (10) and senior secondary school (+2).
- Students who have only completed year 10: Students have to submit marks sheet and certificate of secondary (10) plus mark sheets and a diploma from vocational training may qualify students for admission to UG programs.
- Transcript: Students must submit the official marks statements or transcripts that are provided by the college.
- Certificates: Certificates like High School or University/College Certificates are to be submitted of education qualification.
- ELP Scores: Students have to submit their English language proficiency scores like IELTS, TOEFL, or other test scores.
- Note 1: University accepts no more than 6 backlogs in a 3-year degree and 8 backlogs in a 4-year degree.
- Note 2: University does not accept study gaps of more than 5 years.
