Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students have to complete a High school graduation degree.
- A minimum of 17 years of age is required for the students by the end of the first month of studies in the semester of entry to Douglas College.
- Students must have a GPA of 2.0 on a 4.33 scale.
- Students hold a minimum overall grade average of 60% (or equivalent) in the final year of high school.
- Students acquire a minimum final grade of “C” or 60% (or equivalent) in Grade 11 Mathematics or equivalent for most programs.
- Students must complete the following required 30 university transfer (UT) credits, with a minimum grade of C+ (65%) in each 3 credit course:
- Biology (BIOL 1103, BIOL 1203, BIOL 2200, BIOL 2401)
- ENGL 1130 and one UT ENGL elective course
- MATH 1160 or PSYC 2300
- 3 credit UT Social Science/Humanities elective
- 6 credits UT electives
Language Requirements:
- The students must be able to understand and fluently speak the language of instruction (English) in the program. Proof of linguistic proficiency may be required.
- The students whose official language is not English must submit the English Language Proficiency scores like IELTS or TOEFL.
- If the student does not meet the language requirements they can take English Language Learning and Acquisition (ELLA) program and complete it and pursue this program.
