The two Business Administration programs at Dawson College follow the same course of study in the first year to give you a solid business foundation in the fundamentals of accounting and marketing.Business Management (Marketing) is a three-year career program that prepares students for direct entry into the workplace. Emphasis is placed on electronic marketing and international business to give you the tools and knowledge required to operate in a rapidly evolving global environment. Business Management (Marketing) students perform an observation stage in a retail environment in the fifth semester of the program and a hands-on stage in an authentic business setting during the last semester.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

A Diploma of Secondary Studies (DES) or academic background judged equivalent to the DES.
Secondary school transcripts/records, including all final matriculation examination scores. Only certified copies of original documents or original documents are accepted. Applicants must include secondary school documents even if they have completed a higher level of education.

Dawson College in a brief summary

Course Curriculum:

It is very straight forward and prepare you prefectly for your graduation, as well as to find a job after grad. They have everything logically scheduled but since it is a 3 years program, the work load is much higher than that in high school.

Fees:

Since its a public school, if you are from the province of Quebec, you are not paying tuition fees but only faculty fees. If you are from outside of Quebec but within Canada, you have to pay a higher amount. And as for international students, the fee is really high. However, the school does offer scholarships for students with high academic achievements, or financial aid for students from the province of Quebec and also provide groceries for students in need.
