Course Curriculum
There are good and bad parts. My course needs to focus more on the practical side as that's what people expect out of the course and the theory and other subjects don't have anything to do with our course. For example, we have to do a subject called digital literacies which holds no relevance. The reason we have to do that is the music and sound course is Niche and they have just put us in the communications division with journalism, social/political science students etc so it makes no sense.
Fees
The fee structure is something I personally am not aware of as I am very fortunate to have my parents pay for my tuition. I am aware of many scholarships but not the name I do apologise. I do know friends who have got housing scholarships as they struggle to get work here. Very smart friends of mine have also gotten $5000-$15000 scholarships for the sport
This course is designed to develop practitioners in music and sound design with a strong base of artistic, professional and theoretical skills. The UTS Bachelor of Music and Sound Design combines the domains of music, sound and screens (film, TV, internet, games, online) with subjects that focus on developing real-world skills for the digital sound industry.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Aacademic Requirement:
- Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification, Australian Qualifications Framework Diploma, or equivalent Australian or overseas qualification at the required level.
