- Student will explore how various social, global and economic forces influence inclusive education practices at a local and global level. student will identify the key barriers that result in some members of society being excluded from participation in a range of education and social activities, from pre-school to tertiary education and in workplaces.
- Drawing on contemporary approaches that strengthen inclusion across different contexts, student will develop a repertoire of strategies to promote inclusion of learners with diverse needs and enhance their participation in different contexts.
- Student will acquire the skills to work with key stakeholders, including parents, and be able to design and implement effective educational plans to deepen inclusive teaching and learning practices.
- Through engagement with key principles of system-wide positive behaviour support (PBS), student will be well equipped to develop students own strategies that can be used to prevent and respond to challenging behaviours in educational contexts.
- Graduates of this specialisation will be well equipped to develop effective strategies to promote inclusion of learners with diverse needs in a wide range of learning contexts.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants must have completed an Australian bachelor degree or an equivalent qualification.
- Applicants will be required to attend an interview (by telephone) with a member of the selection panel.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of three years of work experience (total) with at least one year of professional/managerial experience.
Language Requirments:
- The students whose official language is not English are required to submit the English Language Proficiency scores.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- The student has graduated from senior secondary school or equivalent (those applying for a postgraduate program must have graduated from a university or college).
- Students completed a Diploma from an accredited institution with 65% in the final years of the program.
