- Bachelor of Information Technology at Monash University is a 3-year program.
- The program is accredited by the Australian Computer Society.
- Information technology (IT) is everywhere, but its power comes from the creative intelligence of the people behind it.
- The students will become the expert who designs and creates the IT systems the whole world all relies on.
- Through real-world industry projects or placements, and with generous scholarships available, the student will hit the ground running - ready to embark on an exciting career.
- Alternatively, the student can apply through the highly regarded Industry Based Learning (IBL) program to do one or two half-year placements with the industry partners (leading Australian and global organizations). Each year, 100 percent of the IBL students who seek employment have received graduate job offers.
- In the final year, the student will put into practice the skills and knowledge they gained during the course, through industry experience, games, or multimedia studio project.
- The student can tailor their studies to suit their interests and career aspirations in these ways:
- IT major or extended major - develop deep expertise.
- IT electives - a huge range from 'Business Analytics' to 'Cybersecurity' and 'Social Informatics'.
- Monash-wide electives - complement the flair for IT or indulge other passions.
- Double degree - gain an extra qualification in Arts, Business, Commerce, Design, Education, or Science.
- Be global - study at Monash locations in Malaysia, South Africa, or Italy, or at one of the prestigious partner universities.
- Go further - high-achieving students can add an Honours research year or a 1.5-year IT Masters's degree.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have completed secondary level education or equivalent.
- Students should have an International Baccalaureate Diploma.
- Students need to have exposure to English and Mathematics
Indian Student Eligibility:
- The student has graduated from senior secondary school or equivalent (those applying for a postgraduate program must have graduated from a university or college).
- Students completed a Diploma from an accredited institution with 65% in the final years of the program.
Submission of GRE scores is not compulsory for this program, however, it is recommended to submit the scores (minimum 300) for a better chance of admission.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
