Monash Engineering International Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship

International students who wishes to pursue an engineering degree at Monash University is eligible. Apart from this, applicants must meet the eligibility criteria given below:

• Applicants must be currently in Year 12 (or equivalent) or
  • must have completed Year 12 or equivalent in the previous year.
• Must have not undertaken any other tertiary study.
• Must commence UG study in an engineering degree.
• Must have achieved a minimum ATAR* score of 95.00.
• Must have received a full or conditional offer to study at the Monash campus in Australia.

*ATAR means Australian Tertiary Admission Rank which is used as a parameter to indicate the student’s position on a scale of 0.00 to 99.95. It is an aggregate calculated from six subject scores.

No separate application is required to avail Monash Engineering International Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship. The scholarship is granted on the basis of academic excellence.

Candidates must meet admission requirements at Monash University and offered a place to study at university to be eligible for the scholarship.

The selection of recipients for the scholarship is entirely based on admission scores and academic performance demonstrated in admission application.

This scholarship is renewable for the entire period of the program i.e. 4 years but in order to retain it, the students must meet the set criteria.

The criteria for retaining the scholarship for the following year is maintaining a minimum 70 weighted average mark (WAM) in the bachelor’s degree that they are pursuing at the University.
