Angel Das Review at Monash University, Melbourne | Collegedunia

My experience about Monash University.

AD
8.3 /10

The curriculum, which was in line with what I wanted to broaden my understanding of along with the reputation.

Course Curriculum :

I am still pursuing, but so far the quality of education has been top-notch.

Exams :

I had to submit my CV and 1 SoP. The CV highlighted my prior experience when working on domains relevant to this field whereas the SoP spoke more about my future goals and how my Masters fit in.

Placement :

The opportunity is vast. It depends on the state, region, and other factors as well. Most of my alumni are already placed.

Internship :

I have started applying.

Events :

Lockdown prevented me from accessing any campus facilities. The clubs are active and include, debate, music, IT, programming, etc. The MSA (Monash Student Association) along with the University arranges multiple events (online) to keep students engaged, thus promoting network. The college focuses on the mental health of students as well, making it easier to survive in a foreign land.

Fees :

AUD 80,000

Scholarship :

Yes. I received an International Study Grant of AUD 8000 for the curriculum at Monash University and a 25% scholarship for the curriculum in RMIT. The scholarships are assessed based on undergraduate marks and academic achievements.

Faculty :

Most of the classes are online, hence I can't comment on the ratio, however, tutorials and consultations are pretty good and provides enough guidance to students on their day to day work.

Hostel :

No
