It was a childhood dream to go here. I also liked the extensive focus on the industry for the program. It was important for me to choose the right uni because many Unis offered my course. Because UQ was a childhood dream for me, it was an obvious choice.

Course Curriculum

9

I love it! Science subjects are quite difficult but necessary. Having two plan subjects when first beginning the program allowed me to experience industry-focused learning as well as the actual grit of planning.

Fees

It was a fee per subject enrolled, with free drop out before the census date. Those course fees will be charged every semester with the new set of courses enrolled. An amenities fee was also applied, generalizing the use of Unis main features like the libraries and their uses, ID cards, etc.

Examination Structure

Difficult but easy to understand. The exams are weighed less than 50% and are balanced out with summative quizzes or summaries which is helpful. The exams include multiple choice but mainly consist of short answer questions that I struggle to interpret at times.

Faculty

I love it, however, it has been under quite a lot of protests and controversy recently. It would be good for the UQ Union to do a little more, too. I don't think the college is overcrowded which is good.
