I was from a different state where the closest uni didn't offer my chosen degree, Griffith came and had an info day and I really liked the values and the location to move to.

Course Curriculum

9

It's not set out easily, you can pick and choose when to do specific classes but if you fail you have to redo it which may influence other future class choices especially if you have to get a high amount of credit points per year like I do for my course.

Exams

I've taken roughly 20+ exams since starting my degree so I don't remember all the scores.

Placement

7

They are also time specific for different degrees, mine isn't till the 3rd year.

Internship

Yes, they do but they time specific to your course so I won't experience one till the 3rd year.

Fees

We are charged per course, they also charged a student fee in a lump sum for the whole year for services that the university offers to students for free like the doctors and free food days and guidance counselors and stuff like that.

Scholarship

Yes, I gain financial help via Centrelink who give me youth allowance payments for studying full time.

Examination Structure

Very squished, we only have a 3 day study week between content and the exams. Then the exams are timetables for 2- 3 per day at 8 am-noon and 4 pm which does not allow for much wiggle room if people have exams on the same day.

Faculty

9

I really love my university, the only issue I have is that the food on campus is ridiculously expensive compared to other universities. Our bookshop is also very overpriced even for regular items like pencils and exercise books.

Hostel

I share a unit off campus with my partner, it's a uni accommodation apartment building so all utilities are included making and the rent is cheap and we really love it.
