The admission requirements for graduate programs at the Canadian universities are course-specific. Generally students need a bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 70% aggregate, 1-3 years of work experience, GRE score of 300 or GMAT score of 580-600.

International students need a 12th grade certificate or equivalent for admission to undergraduate programs in Canada. Students need an overall aggregate of 70% in class 12 for admission to the top universities in Canada. Students need an IELTS score of 6.0 overall and 5.5 in each section for admission to the program.

SRM University Modinagar campus in Delhi NCR is good. Getting a degree from this campus is equivalent to a degree from the Main campus. The campus isn't newly opened, it has been functioning for a while now. Students of this campus get similar placement opportunities as that of the main campus. SRM Ghaziabad placement highlights show the average CTC to be around INR 3-4 LPA.

Ques. Are so many private colleges like Manipal, UPTU, PTU, WBTU etc in India is huge problem? Why is it that they are giving negative standards to science and engineering?

As far as private universities are concerned, Manipal is one of the best there is. The medical college, KMC boasts of having an excellent curriculum and there is a similarity between theirs and the curriculum of the foreign medical schools. The same can be said for the dental institute, MCODS.

A number of fine chefs have come out from the hotel management. Some of the chefs have even participated in the famous cooking competition ‘MasterChef'.

The engineering college, MIT, despite being a very good college, has a drawback. It is the intake of the students which makes things very difficult. It also has a negative impact on the placement of the students.

Coming to PTU, it does not have a good reputation. The faculty and the academic atmosphere are not that great. Also, drug abuse is rampant in those areas.
