Rachel Barron Review at Sam Houston State University [SHSU], Huntsville | Collegedunia

My college is everything I could have asked for in a university. I am very happy here and am thriving.

9.0 /10

I decided to go to Sam Houston State University for various reasons. One reason was cost because the tuition price is fairly low. Another reason was the location. The school is located in Texas and I am from Texas, so it made sense to go there.

Course Curriculum :

The course curriculum is challenging but doable. It is different for each class, but it is able to be done and to be done well. I have managed to do well in my courses thus far and have been able to make the deans list.

Exams :

I took the SAT exam only to get into my school. The ACT, IELTS, and GRE were not required for my school/ not required for my program.

Placement :

There are various job opportunities on campus for students. However, since so many students want jobs, it is hard to actually get a job at times/finds jobs that work within your schedule. However, they are willing to help you find a job.

Fees :

The fee structure is itemized clearly in the student account. It is broken down from tuition, room and board, meal plans, and various other student costs. There are health services and rec costs, but they are fairly low for the services you receive in return.

Faculty :

The faculty at Sam Houston state university are extraordinarily well. Every professor I have had here as cared about their students and wants them to succeed.
