Jamie Cunningham
East Carolina University, Bachelors in Political Science
Reviewed on Mar 26, 2019

It has a great atmosphere, especially during football season when everyone is excited and gets together every weekend. It also is not too far from home for me which is great because then I can go home whenever I want without it being an issue. East Carolina offers many organizations and programs to help pursue a career in Political Science.

Course Curriculum

I do not think it is too difficult. Yes, it is challenging at times because it is college but it is nothing anyone couldn't handle. I find it to be a good level of difficulty so we are constantly pushing ourselves without becoming so stressed to the point it destroys our grades/health.

Fees

It is about $8,500 to attend ECU and this includes meal plans, dorm rooms, and other fees. If you choose to live off campus after your first year, tuition goes down because you do not have to pay for a dorm and can opt out of a meal plan.

Examination Structure

The exams are set up however the professor wants it. The university does not set strict guidelines so some exams can be online and taken anywhere while other online exams have to be taken in front of a proctor. Many exams are usually in class and require a scantron or a blue book for short answers.

Faculty

The faculty at East Carolina or fairly nice and helpful. Every administrator and professor wants us to succeed and is always willing to help us do such.
