I opted for this college because it is a small school that offered the major I wanted in a really nice location. Not in the city but with enough to do in the area. I am a runner, so it's nice to have trails nearby.

Course Curriculum

10

The program was Rigorous but straightforward and productive. Work hard and it's helpful and not too hard. A good investment of time. Use resources such as tutoring and office hours because they are available.

Exams

SAT, ACT, and GRE.

Placement

10

Job opportunities are fantastic. Everyone wants to hire Lehigh engineers. Grad school is definitely a big option as well. Even if the general public isn't familiar with the university, top research universities know who we are.

Internship

I got an internship at the university to work on research in China. The budget was $9000 with a $1000 stipend. A great opportunity that I would recommend everyone taking advantage of because it's a great deal.

Events

8

Lehigh is celebrating its 150th graduating class this year, so that's exciting. Most fancy Lehigh events are about raising money to do cool things on campus like residence halls and new class buildings. Graduation is a lot of fun too.

Fees

Fees are tuition room and board. The price tag goes up each year but they have plenty of financial aid. I'm not sure about the other fees they have, but living nearby can definitely be affordable if you live off campus.

Scholarship

Financial aid is available for need-based and merit-based. I received some of both, as many undergrads do. Lehigh is generous with financial aid because they want everyone to be able to afford to come, but there are many wealthy students who can afford the bill.

Examination Structure

2 midterm exams and a final exam for each class for the most part. The final is 3 hours and the midterms are one class period. I've felt pretty well prepped for the exams given the coursework. The professors are reasonable.

Faculty

10

The faculty is super helpful and supportive. They want what's best for you and are happy to support you at college. You are there to learn from them and they are worth listening to as a valuable resource to students.

Hostel

Living off campus is reasonably priced. Just find the right group to live with. I currently live with a lady who has lived in the area for 30 years and wanted someone in her spare room. Find what works for you.
