Tuition costs & proximity. The tuition for in-state students is relatively at a low price. It was a no brainer to opt for an option that was less expensive than the competing schools. All while being just as established academically. The proximity to my hometown is relatively close as I enjoy going home every now and again.
Course Curriculum
Prerequisites for the nursing application are tedious and not always the most enjoyable, but once in the nursing program courses are energetic and hands-on!
Exams
It is my passion to pursue this career in the program, you must have above a 3.7 to get placed on any site once accepted to nursing school. After you have completed the application you will be placed amount five different hospitals throughout the state of Montana, including Bozeman. The program is rigorous but worth it.
Placement
I have not been in contact with and visiting companies yet. I'm still in the phase of clinical and do not plan on doing that till I reach the closer end of my degree.i do believe that job offers are given to high achieving students after they receive their degree.
Internship
Yes, they offer work-study, I have worked on campuses for a year during my freshman stay in the dorms! Working on campus is great but the wages are not competitive and you may need to find another job for financial reasons.
Events
Homecoming, sorority/fraternity rush, and countless student engagement activities
Fees
I believe that the payment was around $50. Other than that the application process had no additional fees. Scholarships I have applied for were granted through dependent agencies. However, I got a $1,000 off each semester for having good grades in high school that MaU granted me, I had to do a brief scholarship entry to receive it.
Scholarship
FASFA
Examination Structure
Exams are all dependent on the class you are taking.
Faculty
1:50 student to faculty ratio! Most of my experience has been with great instructors, most have PhDs, other time TAs will be instructing the class. Although TAs are not as great as the instructors in my experience as a student.
Hostel
I am here on campus during my freshman year. As it is required for any entering freshman to live a year on campus. After my freshman year was over I resided, and still reside, on off-campus housing. Although I like the residence halls, living off-campus is easier and more independent feeling. However, the parking is terrible.
