The cost was good, had a scholarship, close enough to home, sting engineering program. Enjoy the surrounding area, and have lots of student org opportunities. There are also lots of engineering companies in Milwaukee.
Course Curriculum
Very real-life applicable, but some of the labs are boring and repetitive. However, I feel like I am getting a very good education and have been successful in landing internships and worked at them without any issues, so the courses seem fine to me.
Fees
Tuition, dorms and food. There are extra fees for some courses as well as an extra fee for online courses. If you want to save money live in a triple freshman year and buy your own groceries, the food is ridiculously expensive in the food court.
Examination Structure
The exam structure is pretty typical, 2-3 exams and a final for most courses along with some quizzes. Sometimes tests vary by the instructor which is frustrating but overall we have a very normal, as expected exam system.
Faculty
Most professors are good, there are some that are not the best and are hard to understand even when reading from slides, but this is more so seen in TAs. Again, most of my professors have been fine.
