It's affordable and I love the city, I got a good scholarship and I loved the energy of the campus when I visited. The people are so nice, the professors are great and the classes are compelling.
Course Curriculum
I think it's great. We have GenEd requirements that help all the students to gain a real breadth of knowledge. We also, of course, have courses designed for any majors or minors we may decide to pursue.
Exams
I took both the SAT and the ACT. I also took several International Baccalaureate tests and Advanced Placement exams.
Internship
I believe my college does provide a variety of internship opportunities. However, I am only a freshman and I haven't gotten the chance to pursue an internship quite yet. I hope to do an internship later.
Fees
The tuition and room and board are about $35,000 since I'm in state. I was lucky enough to get a scholarship of $8,000 yearly though. That really goes a long long way since college is super expensive these days.
Examination Structure
Exams are different for each professor. Some professors don't even have midterms or finals which I appreciate since I'm not a good test taker. The midterms and finals I have taken have been manageable.
Faculty
The faculty are all lovely. The professors are easy to reach out to and always make classes interesting.
