I chose Oakland University because I got a scholarship that would pay for a huge amount of my tuition. Also, the program of Health Sciences isn't found many other schools and I really liked the curriculum it had.
Course Curriculum
I really like the curriculum in the health sciences program at Oakland University. It is a great pre-med program because you take all the prerequisite courses for medical school, but don't have to take extra science classes that chemistry or biology majors would have to.
Exams
The exam I took was the SAT during my junior year of high school. I did not take any other tests but will be taking the MCAT soon.
Internship
Oakland University does not provide medical internships that I personally know of, but they do provide resources to get experience in the medical field, which is great of them to do. They always have job fairs.
Fees
The charges are just the tuition. We are lucky that we do not have to pay for parking at Oakland University.
Examination Structure
The exam structure at OU is very good. Most professors use Akindi test sheets which are great scan sheets that input the grades right away. Also, the teachers make seating charts to avoid people cheating on the exams.
Faculty
The faulty at Oakland University is great! They are all willing to help their students and want everyone to succeed. They also really try to get to know the students.
