Good teachers and professors, a respected university, great recruiting history, a good place to learn, not too bad weather conditions, interesting research, public university - so moderate tuition fees.

Course Curriculum

10

The course structure is good and we have total freedom to choose courses. It is up-to-date and I am learning about latest technology. Most of my coursework has been theoretical, so not a lot of industrial experience, but Professors that have taught me share their industrial experiences which helps a lot.

Exams

My scores in entrance tests: GRE 163 Quant, 155 Verbal, 4 Analytical Writing; 102 TOEFL.

Placement

9

All I can say is that top companies from the field of IT, Electronics, and Computers visit (for my course) including Google, Amazon, GE, Apple, CISCO, etc. Career fairs are held regularly to facilitate recruitment.

Internship

No, I didn't get an internship.

Events

Great campus life, but not so great during a pandemic. Lively environment, sports facilities, student center, library, reading room, good food, vending machines, and transport facilities, all available at affordable prices. Regular events related to career fairs, presentations, student life, physical and mental health issues, etc. are organized. Top-class research facilities and free WiFi are available throughout the campus.

Fees

USD 17000 per semester. Thus, $68000 for 4 semesters.

Scholarship

I did not receive any scholarship.

Faculty

9

It is difficult to say what the exact ratio might be but for all the courses that I have attended, we don't have more than 20 students per class, some have even less than 20. Professors are very well versed with topics, highly knowledgeable, and have loads of industrial experience to show for it. They are approachable and are ready to give advice on student life problems, career queries, etc. if needed.

Hostel

7

On-campus and off-campus accommodations are available. On-campus is expensive but safe, off-campus is cheaper but less secure and travel costs increase. Grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, etc. available nearby and affordable. I stay 1.5 km away from campus in a student residence with 2 roommates.
