George Washington University is one of the top universities for my major- International Affairs. It is ranked 7th in the US for the same. The prime location of the university in Washington DC also offers an array of advantages. The university offers a top-notch faculty with influential speaker sessions and fun and exciting activities.

Course Curriculum

9

Our curriculum stays updated with current events and thus our coursework remains well-updated and interesting. Our professors do a great job of connecting current events with our coursework.

Exams

My university was test-optional and hence providing ACT and SAT scores were optional. My university required a common application, high-school grades, and IELTS/TOEFL score. My SAT score was 1300. My IELTS score was 7.5.

Internship

Yes, I am working with a company named YZ Solutions. We have to obtain a CPT (Curriculum Practice Training) in order to get work authorization. I get paid $400 a month as a stipend.

Events

GW has an open campus and hence it is very well-synced with city life. There are a lot of student organizations and fraternities and sororities (greek life).

Fees

$72,000 per year. Rs. 53,28,000

Scholarship

No, I haven't applied for the scholarship.

Faculty

9

Our faculty members have held or hold esteemed positions in the country. Whether we talk about the White House, the IMF, or the World Bank, to name a few. They offer their real-life experiences to the classroom and hence that enhances the learning experiences.

Hostel

7

We have residence halls for freshmen as well as upperclassmen. We have 2 campuses and 2 sports centers. Moreover, we have different buildings for classrooms and a large number of restaurants on campus as well. As it is an open campus, it does not look a lot like a university.
