The number of credits in my program is 33. It has added a good value to my academics by studying some special subjects. Coming to faculty they are simply super. They are very friendly to approach. My graduate advisor's name is AJIB DATTA. He has helped me a lot in developing my career and taking decisions.
This university is not that affordable. Because the fees in this university are high when compared to other universities. We need to pay the fees sem wise for every 6 months. For my feed, I secured a bank loan to pay my fees. There will be some academic expenses but not much, very less.
The course curriculum is great, I have so far had a great experience at UTA. UTA has a lot of resources to go to if you don't understand something; like office hours, free tutoring, study groups, and the library.
Tuition was just one fee, and then there is room and board fee if you decide to live in a dorm/apartment on UTA grounds. If you do live on UTA grounds then you also have to get a meal plan which is really expensive.
In my opinion, the courses are rigorous but are necessary. Each course is connected to the next and the sequence of courses makes sense to my major. Although rigorous the professors are very helpful and make the courses doable.
The standard university fees were charged along with other charges for being an international student. I was waived for some charges since I am completely online.
The course curriculum is very similar to the international baccalaureate and advanced placement classes that I took in high school. They are very easy to get an A in with minimal to some effort. I don't always study, and I still do great.
There were many unnecessary fees that went into my enrollment. We had to pay for the engineering building, the science building, the dorms, etc.
Not bad at all. Some of the core I find unnecessary toward the specific major, but it is not overall that bad or overdone. Such as needing an appreciation of fine arts as a core class to major in Business.
As far as living on campus, all amenities were included free of extra fees with the monthly payment of rent.
The syllabus is quite updated and relevant. Not given extreme much exposure yet. Industry exposure given through extracurriculars.
$6800 per semester
