Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Thermal Sciences & Energy Systems) From IIT Jammu, Jammu

BE/B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Telecommunication / Electrical Engineering with first class throughout education qualification.

A minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.0 on a 10.00 point scale in secondary (X) and senior secondary (XII) school examinations.

A relaxation of 5% marks or equivalent will be given in either secondary (X) or senior secondary (XII) school examinations.

The candidates must have a valid GATE Score card with a minimum of 300 scores (for the SC/ST category the minimum is 200 scores) with EC/EE/IN paper codes.

Note: Candidates will be screened based on B.E/BTech marks and GATE scores and will be called for a written test and/or interview.

Fees structure for Self Sponsored:-

• Tuition Fees per semester – Rs 75,000
• Annual Fee – Rs 3,180 (Every odd semester)
• One time Payement  – Rs 6,300/-
• Security Payment – Rs 10,000/-

Fees structure for Defence:-

• Tuition Fees per semester – Rs 50,000
• Annual Fee – Rs 1580 (Every odd semester)
• One time Payement  – Rs 6,300/-
• Security Payment – Rs 10,000/-

NOTE :

• Insurance fee under annual fee may increase approximately by 30% or more depending on actual costs as determined at the beginning of
  even semester.
• Occupancy charges not applicable to Defence students
• Thesis fees of Rs. 2000/- shall be charged at the time of submission of thesis
• Fee component other than tuition fee will increase annually at the rate of 7 %
• Mess charges will be notified separately and shall be paid accordingly.
• The fee for Summer Term will be additional, if opted for.
