IIT Jammu M.Sc Chemistry: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in Chemistry for three years/six semesters.

Essential Criteria:

For B.Sc./B.S Students, Chemistry for at least two years/four Semesters.

B.Tech/B.E students with any specialization with four core courses in chemistry

The admissions to this PG program will be done through the Joint Admission (JAM) entrance examination.

The scholarship will not be provided for MSc Students.

Fees structure:-

(GENERAL/OBC/EWS):-

• Single Occupancy fee per semester  – Rs 32,240/-
• Shared Occupancy fee per semester – Rs 27,470/-

All Income categories (SC/ST/PH):-

• Single Occupancy fee per semester  – Rs 32,240/-
• Shared Occupancy fee per semester – Rs 27,470/-

Self – Sponsored:-

• Single Occupancy fee per semester  – Rs 32,240/-
• Shared Occupancy fee per semester – Rs 27,470/-

Fees structure for Self Sponsored:-

• Tuition Fees per semester – Rs 30,000
• Annual Fee – Rs 3,180 (Every odd semester)
• One time Payement  – Rs 6,300/-
• Security Payment – Rs 10,000/-

NOTE :

• Insurance fee under annual fee may increase approximately by 30% or more depending on actual costs as determined at the beginning of
  even semester.
• Occupancy charges not applicable to Defence students
• Thesis fees of Rs. 2000/- shall be charged at the time of submission of thesis
• Fee component other than tuition fee will increase annually at the rate of 7 %
• Mess charges will be notified separately and shall be paid accordingly.
• The fee for Summer Term will be additional, if opted for.
