Aspirants seeking admission in 2-year full-time MA program should meet the criteria followed by the institute 

Academic Requirement 

1. Women Students who have passed Bachelor of Music Degree or Music as one of the three equal subjects in B.A. Degree Examination are eligible (GM 50%, SC/ST/Cat-I 45% Marks).
2. Candidates who have passed Karnataka State Senior Grade Examination and equivalent examination in Hindustani Vocal Music with any degree from recognised university (GM 50%, SC/ST/Cat-I 45% Marks).

Admission shall be made on the basis of merit and the reservation policy as prescribed by the Government of Karnataka from time to time.
