What is the strength of Intake for the PG Diploma course?

HBNI provides 3 PG Diploma courses. The intake strength of each course is 62 and the selection process is based on the guidelines of the selection board.

Is the Ph.D. program good on the HBNI campus?

Yes, the Ph.D. program is good enough as compared to the other research centers. The campus provides well-equipped laboratories and abundant resources.

Are students provided internships in the BARC campus?

In the BARC campus, there are summer internship programs for the students of the second year and third year. The winter internship program can also be obtained by the students. The student needs to write a letter to the Dean of the department in regards to the internship.

Fill personal details on the form.
Write valid Email Id and Contact Number.
Provide academic details.
Paste Self Attested Photograph.
Draw a D.D of INR 5000/- in favour of Account Officer, HBNI.
Post Application form and Demand Draft along with Required Documents to:

Eligibility Criteria

For Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences: You should have a B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent from a recognized university or institute with minimum 50% of marks. If you have an M.Sc. or equivalent degree and have an aptitude for research in Engineering, you may also be considered for admission.

For Ph.D. in Science or Mathematics: You should have an M.Sc., M.V.Sc, M.Pharm. , MBBS, or equivalent from a recognized university or institute with minimum 50% of marks. If you have a B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree and have an aptitude for research in Science or Mathematics, you may also be considered for admission.

Admission Guidelines

You will be selected on the basis of an All India written test conducted at the national level and approved by the Academic Council. However, if you have qualified JEST, NET, NBHM, DBT, GATE, DST Inspire examinations, you are exempted from appearing for the written test. If you are shortlisted or have qualified for the above exams, it will be followed by a Selection Interview by an expert committee nominated by Director of CI (Constituent Institutions).
