About Chitkara University
Chitkara University(CU) is one of the famous non-profitable University in North India. The University was established in 2008 under the UGC act of 1956. CU runs under Chitkara Educational Trust. The University campus is spread over 17 acres located at Atal Shiksha Kunj in Barotiwala, Himachal Pradesh. University has tie-ups with a number of international universities, offering exchange programs to the students across different departments.

Undergraduate Programs
Eligibility Criteria: 10+2 from any government recognized institute or equivalent.
Selection Procedure
- Candidates are required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria in accordance with the desired course.
- After meeting the minimum eligibility, selected students will be asked to appear for personal interviews.
Postgraduate Programs
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates having B.Tech/B.E./B.Arch degree in Civil/ Architecture with a minimum of 55% marks.
Selection Procedure

The University campus provides comfortable hostel facilities separately for boys and girls. Solar water heaters, water coolers, and water purifiers are provided in all the hostels. All rooms in the hostels have Internet connections.

In 2021, I joined Chitkara University. Go to the Chitkara official website fill in the form then the Chitkara faculty contact you and tell you everything that you want to know. Chitkara University provides a good faculty that teaches you a lot. There are lots of experienced teachers. At Chitkara University there are many clubs/ groups that you can join according to your interests and explore yourself.
Admission:
The Chitkara University (both Punjab and Himachal pradesh Campus) give admission in Bachelor Of Engineering courses on the basis of JEE-Mains marks + student need to score at least 60% marks individually in Phy, Chem, Maths in class 12th. If a student has an aggregate of 60% in Phy, Chem, and Maths he/she is also eligible if they dont have 60% individual marks in Phy, Chem, or Maths. In Chitkara University all admissions are merit-based, so there is no management quota. You can visit their official website to apply.
