IARI Ph.D Plant Pathology: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Students seeking admission to any of the Doctoral courses offered by the Institute need to fill an application form available online only. The students can apply for admission in only one discipline.

Along with the application form, students need to submit the self-attested copy of the following documents:

• Class 10th and 12th Mark sheet as a proof of Date of Birth.
• Master's Degree Certificate along with the Mark sheets.
• Category certificate, if applicable.
• Students who are appearing in their Master's Degree final year Examination, need to submit a certificate as at Annexure - VI.
• Bachelor's Degree certificate along with the Mark sheets.

Once, the application is submitted successfully along with the fee payment, students are expected to appear in the Entrance Examination. Admit Cards for the same could be downloaded as per the schedule.

Aspirants seeking admission to 3-year Full-time Ph.D. program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

Candidates must have M.Sc./M.Sc.(Ag.)/M.Tech./M.E. in Mycology and/OR Plant Pathology / Botany / Agricultural Botany / Molecular Biology and/OR Biotechnology / Genetics / Microbiology / Seed Science and Technology / Biochemistry / Plant Genetic Resources / Plant Protection / Relevant Life Sciences with Mycology and Plant Pathology as specialization/Bioinformatics from any recognized university.
