IGNOU MPS Assignments 2024
Assignments constitute continuous evaluation. The marks that you secure in the assignments will be counted in your final result. As mentioned earlier, an assignment of a course carries 30% weightage. You are therefore advised to take your assignment seriously.
Non Submission of Assignment
The TMA for each semester can be downloaded from the Student Zone of the University website. You have to complete the assignment within the due dates specified in the assignment booklet. You will not be allowed to appear for the term-end examination for any course if you do not submit the assignment in time for that course. If you appear in the term-end examination, without submitting the assignments, the result of the term-end examination is liable to be canceled.

- Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and Physically Handicapped students must pay the fee along with other students when they apply for admission to the university.

Ques. What is the validity of admission lists?
Ans. Candidates who are offered admission must enroll on or before the University's defined deadlines. If they wish to apply for the next session, they must apply again and go through the admissions process.
Ques. What is the credit system followed at IGNOU?
Ans. Credits are used in the Open University scheme. One credit equals 30 hours of study time. In other words, completing an 8-credit course would require 240 hours of study, while completing a four-credit course will require 120 hours of study. Calculate how much time you have to devote to your studies to determine how many classes you want to take in a year. To complete a course in an academic programme (Degree, Diploma, or Certificate), you must pass the Assignments and the Term-End Examination for each course, as well as any project work that is required in the programme.

Ans. IGNOU has a dedicated placement cell which does provide a handful of placement opportunities for the students.

- Registration fee of Rs 300/- (Non-refundable) is to be paid at the time of admission in addition to the programme fee given in the following table. University Development fee of Rs 200/- is to be paid at the time of admission in addition to the programme fee
