The Department of Mathematics offers an MSc (by research) degree. To apply for this course, students should have or expect to have a good honours degree (equivalent of 2.i or higher) in Mathematics, or a good honours degree in which Mathematics has formed a substantial part of the course. If their first language not Englishm they should consult the English Language Requirements of the University of York. Applications for part-time registration from UK/EU applicants will be considered.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- A good Bachelors degree from a recognised institution.
- A score of 60% is considered comparable to a UK 2:1 (Second Class Upper Division). We take into account universities who mark more rigorously, eg University of Delhi, where they usually accept 55% or higher.
