Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine at the University of Nottingham is a 4 years program.

This course gives students the opportunity to explore those interests and work toward their ideal future career.
MSci degrees are undergraduate-level courses that last for four years and have an integrated master's qualification. They are the equivalent to a bachelor's degree plus a master's level qualification.
Students can improve their skills in the lab with the practical experience from year one.
As the courses have a similar first year, there are also opportunities to switch to another biochemistry degree path at the end of year one.
Students must pass Year 1, the qualifying year, to continue their studies. The pass mark is 40%. In the year 3 (BSc) plan, year 2 contributes 33%, and year 3, 67% of the final degree mark.
Exams happen twice a year at the end of each semester.
The core hours of directed learning are 9 am – 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with Wednesday afternoon. Occasionally lectures are held from 5-6 pm.
All lectures are recorded for inclusion and for revision purposes.
On completion of the course, students will have developed a thorough understanding of the fundamental aspects of cell biology, biochemistry, and genetics
University offers the chance to study abroad at an approved partner university through the Universitas 21 program.
About 96.5% of undergraduates in the School of Life Sciences secured work or further study within six months of graduation.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete one of the following eligibility criteria:

Students should hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, usually in a relevant subject area. This should be equivalent to at least a UK ‘Upper Second Class (2:1)’ or ‘Lower Second Class (2:2)’ degree.
Students from Indian Universities should score 60% in Upper Second Class (2:1)’ or 55% in ‘Lower Second Class (2:2)’ degrees. These are the college minimum scores and particular departments may seek grades at a higher level.
Applicant should hold a GPA of 3.0 (Upper Second Class) or 2.6 (Lower Second Class) out of 4.0 or hold a GPA of 6.0 (Upper Second Class) or 5.5 (Lower Second Class) out of 10.
