- Bachelor of Medical Science and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Nottingham is a 5-year program.

- During the first 3 years, students will have approximately 16 to 18 hours of teaching contact time with around 20 hours of independent study per week.
- Students will have to spend around 5 days on placement each semester.
- During the time on the Clinical Phase, students will spend between 35 – 40 hours across five days every week studying and on placements.
- Students will spend around two to three days onward, clinic or GP placement visits per week with one day of independent study and one to two days of teaching contact time. This will include some time on call and some out of hours work.
- During placements, students will be supported by experienced clinical mentors.
- The placements can take place in:
- Nottingham at the Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham City Hospital, and Highbury Hospital
- Derby at Royal Derby Hospital
- Mansfield at King's Mill Hospital
- Chesterfield at Chesterfield Royal Hospital
- GP practices across the region
- The Medical School is based in Queen’s Medical Centre, one of the UK’s largest hospitals where students will learn.
- About 98.8% of medicine undergraduates from the School of Medicine secured graduate-level employment or further study within 15 months of graduation.

Indian Student Specific Requirements:
- For Indian Higher secondary certificate the average grades of four highest subjects will be taken
- Grade XII CBSE or ICSE boards: 84% to 93%
