- This broad-based degree gives students a comprehensive understanding of business concepts and models with specialist knowledge of economics. Studying economics provides a greater awareness of, and ability to engage with, the economic, social, and political world that impacts all lives. It is a subject that helps to appreciate and work better within the wider environment. This course includes an optional work placement year, at no extra cost.
- See what it’s like to study at a modern, enterprising, and dynamic business school.
- Employers in both private and public sectors identify that there are insufficient numbers of graduates with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Economics is a rigorous and highly relevant subject that develops these skills in abundance. Economics graduates are very much ‘work ready’ upon graduation and the healthy starting salaries enjoyed by economics graduates are testament to this.
