- This program offers a breadth of learning experiences that provide students with the multi-professional development essential to pursue a career in a range of educational settings.
- It is delivered by practitioners and academics in the Education team who have specialist knowledge and experience of working in a range of educational settings such as schools, post-16 educational settings, and further and higher education.
- Their studies will include examining the developing child and young person, considering how policy impacts current provision and practice, pedagogy, special educational needs, and disability (SEND), and exploring how and where education takes place. They will also complete a module designed to boost graduate employability skills.
- Through the second and third year, students will have the opportunity to develop their research skills when they plan for and complete a piece of independent research in an area of education that interests them.
- The program will enable them to study how people’s education and their educational experiences develop from childhood through to adulthood. The program has a focus on the importance of lifelong learning.
- They can study this program with a range of career interests in mind, ranging from educational roles in schools, further and higher education to working in local councils, libraries, and museums.
- After graduating with the right degree classification, students are ideally placed to further their career interests by moving into work or taking a professional qualification at the postgraduate level.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- A typical offer is 72-96 tariff points from at least two A levels (or equivalent). Applicants must have GCSE English at grade 4 (grade C) or equivalent.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Applicants must have:
- Standard XII – 65% minimum from all state boards.
- Diploma from the State Board of Technical Education with 60% minimum (including MEng).
- Holders of the International Baccalaureate Diploma with 28 points or more will be considered for direct admission to Bachelor degree courses.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
