- In the first year, Students take compulsory modules covering the three branches of the program: biological anthropology, social anthropology, and material culture. Biological anthropology focuses on contemporary human-environment interactions and human evolution. Social anthropology explores social and cultural differences and their determinants, from indigenous groups to modern western economies. Material culture studies human, social, and environmental relationships through the evidence of people's construction of their material world. Students' first year also includes a three-day field trip to discover ethnographic research and participant observation in ritual, landscape, and techniques.
- The second-year includes compulsory modules Anthropological Research Methods and Being Human, and students can select five optional modules.
- The third-year student will be spent abroad, where they will study anthropology at a foreign university.
- In the final year, students return to UCL where they select five optional modules and complete an independent research project for their dissertation.
- Upon successful completion of 360 credits, students will be awarded a BSc (Hons) in Anthropology with a Year Abroad.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students have AAB level from a recognized university.
- GCSEs: English Language and Mathematics at grade C or 5, plus Science or Biology at grade B or 6 (combined science at grades 6, 6).
- Students have 36 IB scores, 17 points in three higher level subjects, with no score below 5.
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Successful completion of one year of a Bachelor's Degree at an Indian university recognized by UCL, with an average grade equivalent to UK Upper Second Class.
- The Year 12/Standard 12 Indian School Certificate awarded by CISCE or CBSE with five subjects at 90.
- GRE and GMAT scores are not required.

- Higher Secondary School Certificate - The certificate provided by the education board after completion of the Higher secondary education.
- Statement of marks - The marks statement provided by the education board.
- Letter of Recommendation - This shows who recommended the student to pursue the degree.
- Statement of Purpose - This is an essay or any written statement written by the student while applying.
- English Language Requirement - This shows the test score of English Proficiency Exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE, etc.
VISA & Work Study
VISA
- Visa nationals and non-visa nationals whose program of study lasts for more than six months must not attempt to travel to the UK without a valid student visa.
- Student can apply for a student visa to study in the UK if he/she is 16 or over.
- The student should have offered a place on a course by a licensed student sponsor and should have enough money to support him/her and pay for his/her course - the amount will vary depending on your circumstances.
- Should speak, read, write and understand English and have consent from their parents if they‘re 16 or 17 - need evidence of this when applying.
