- The programme is practice-based and students are expected to develop their own work with tutorial and technical assistance from a specialist team of academic and technical staff.
- Students will also benefit from a programme of visiting artists, gallery visits (when possible) and other events that aim to develop exciting and rigorous debate.
- History and Theory of Art courses are integral to the programme and help students contextualise their studio work and negotiate the relationships between making art and the ways in which art is interpreted, displayed and understood.
- Students will take an additional module from another UCL department for one term. This will be entirely their own choice (subject to availability within the teaching department) and can either be related to studio work or to develop a further interest.
- Upon successful completion of 360 credits, students will be awarded a BA (Hons) in Fine Art.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students should have ABB level from a recognized university. No specific subjects, but a portfolio of work is required. At least two A-level subjects should be taken from UCL's list of preferred A-level subjects.
- GCSEs: English Language and Mathematics at grade C or 5 is required.
- Students have 34 IB scores,16 points in three higher level subjects, with no score lower than 5, plus a portfolio.
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Successful completion of one year of a Bachelor's Degree at an Indian university recognized by UCL, with an average grade equivalent to UK Upper Second Class.
- The Year 12/Standard 12 Indian School Certificate awarded by CISCE or CBSE with five subjects at 90, 85, 85, 85, 85.
- The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) results are not required.

- Higher Secondary School Certificate - The certificate provided by the education board after completion of the Higher secondary education.
- Statement of marks - The marks statement provided by the education board.
- Letter of Recommendation - This shows who recommended the student to pursue the degree.
- Statement of Purpose - This is an essay or any written statement written by the student while applying.
- English Language Requirement - This shows the test score of English Proficiency Exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE, etc.

- Visa nationals and non-visa nationals whose program of study lasts for more than six months must not attempt to travel to the UK without a valid student visa.
- Student can apply for a student visa to study in the UK if he/she is 16 or over.
- The student should have offered a place on a course by a licensed student sponsor and should have enough money to support him/her and pay for his/her course - the amount will vary depending on your circumstances.
- Should speak, read, write and understand English and have consent from their parents if they‘re 16 or 17 - need evidence of this when applying.
