Upon graduation of thisÊGlobal Primary Care Management course at University of the West of ScotlandÊyou will have the capacity to make transformational changes in some of the worlds most disadvantaged communities and populations through systems of primary care.

Our course consists of core and option modules set within a framework of the themes of health and business. The Postgraduate Certificate requires you to complete 60 credits i.e. three core modules.Ê

For the Postgraduate Diploma you must complete a further 60 credits Ð two core modules and one option module. If studying for the MSc you must also complete a Research and Enquiry Dissertation module Ð 60 credits. Finally, to gain the award of MSc Global Primary Care Management, you must complete 180 credits.

Career

Gaining a postgraduate qualification can lead to a variety of career opportunities and destinations. Our course offers enhanced employability prospects within primary care and associated health systems. In particular, you will be equipped to establish new primary care systems where little or no system exists, including (should you choose various options) many of the wider issues associated with sustaining these systems and improving population health as a result.
