Dietitians are the only qualified health professionals that assess, diagnose, and treat diet and nutrition problems. They translate the latest nutrition science into understandable, practical information about food. They provide education and support to enable people to manage their health and treat nutrition-related diseases.
All applicants of this Dietetics and Human Nutrition (Hons) at Coventry University will be required to attend an interview. All offers are subject to satisfactory occupational health clearance, a criminal record check via Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) or equivalent for non-UK residents and a successful interview. Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must achieve an overall score of 60% minimum in the standard XII examination.
- Students also have 65% in Maths and 65% in one from subjects such as Physics/ Chemistry/ Electronics/ Engineering/ Further Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Computing/ Design Tech.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must achieve 60% overall achieved in a 3 or 4 years Engineering or Technology Diploma.
- Students must achieve an overall score of 60% minimum in the Standard XII examination with a minimum of 65% in the key relevant subject; i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Physics.
- 60% in Standard XII English language from certain examination boards only (Central boards, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Uttarakhand).
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
