- BA Business Economics provides students with the theoretical and practical skills that are needed to understand and implement economic decisions made by businesses, managers, and financial specialists.
- This course is a collaboration between the Department of Economics and Essex Business School, allowing students to gain an overview of economics that is relevant to business and introducing students to a wide range of skills within economics, management and organizations, and finance.
- This course is jointly taught by Essex Business School, ranked in the UK’s top 25 for research excellence.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants must have a high school degree in Mathematics C/4 A-levels: BBB from a recognized institution.
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Applicants must have 60% in Indian year 10 (Standard X) Mathematics or 40% in Indian year 12 (Standard XII) Mathematics, in addition to the below.
Award of the Indian year 12 (Standard XII) examination with an overall average from the four best subjects (excluding PE and local language):
CBSE, CISCE and other regional and national boards - 70%
Karnataka (Bangalore), Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh boards - 60%
Kolkata (West Bengal board) - 55%
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
