The MSc Clinical Pharmacy is a part-time distance learning course for pharmacists, run at 22 hospital sites in Wales and England. It integrates a traditional academic course with the studentÕs everyday role, with the aim of developing vital skills and knowledge to apply to their work.
The course offers an exceptionally wide variety of experiential learning, with a new area every three months for the first two years of the course.ÊThis allows you to gain a broad experience of pharmacy, under the guidance of a local practitioner, trained by the University to be your tutor.
The course has been developed by practitioners, and operating at 22 hospitals in four centres Ð three in Wales, one in England Ð provides the opportunity to compare practices in these regions and learn from each other.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicant need to be a registered pharmacist in a country where there is a reciprocal agreement and be working in a patient facing agreement
- Relevant experience is suitable
- Personal statement covering details about why you want to join the program
- Official transcripts of all the previous school, college or universities attended
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS: 6.5 overall minimum with 5.5 in each subskill
- TOEFL IBT: minimum 90 overall with 17 in writing, 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking
- PTE Academic: 62 minimum overall with 59 in all communicative skills
Indian Student Specific Requirements:
- Average of 78-81% in top 4 subjects (not including physical education) in Senior Secondary Examination (Std XII)
